Pretty straight forward; I'm DISO on bottles of Comforting Plush Companion, Left His Nurse While in a Crowd, Champagne Bath Oil, PSX54, and Jingo- Kogo, in decreasing order of likeliness of being found. xD

Also always looking for decants to fill my bottles or backup bottles of the following:
Boadicea (bath oil)
The Girl
Lambs-Wool
Cake Smash
L'Estate (perfume oil)
El Dia de los Reyes
Dark Chocolate and Cherry
Monsterbait: Bloody Mary
Milk Chocolate Buttercream
Giant Vulva

Additionally, and oddly, interested in the Yule postcards for this year; if you have any lurking around, feel free to throw some in!

My swap page is over this-a-way; worst comes to worst, I also have PayPal, and would be willing to pay, but I'm not getting paid until the end of the month, so I'm ideally looking to swap for now.

Hey everyone!

I got yet another friend into BPAL, and he's planning on getting his Lady into it as well. He fell in love with the imp-sized rollers. Does anyone have any extra to sell (I have CC Paypal), or...? I seem to recall there was a site that started to offer them without having to buy the 400 piece box from the original company. Does anyone remember that site?

Thanks a bunch!

All right, I might be jumping the gun here, but considering the recent posts about BPAL.org's forum issues, I don't want to take a chance!

We just finally upgraded to cable internet at my house (I know, right) and I lost my old email address, so I went in to BPAL.org to give them the new one, unaware of the issues they were having. Now the forums won't let me in to do anything until I have a new registration key, which is supposed to be emailed to me, except . . . it's not showing up in my email, and several people haven't been receiving their emails from the site because of a server issue. I have no problem with waiting it out, because I'm sure I'll get it myself, and if I don't I can just contact them and work out the issue, etc. I've already tried having them resend it, and nothing is showing up yet.

The problem is that I'm in the middle of a swap with someone and I need to go send her her DC number, but I can only contact her through the forum, which I can't get in to! I've already had to delay shipping her package for two days because of cable repair guys coming in and out of our house. I really don't want her to think I'm swaplifting her when I suddenly don't get back to her with a DC number on the day I said I was going to. XD So I am wondering if anyone who's on the forums would be willing to PM her for me and explain the situation and give her the DC number. I don't remember her forum username, but I could point you to her thread on the swaps forum and you could find her that way. I would be so, so grateful to anyone who's willing to help me out; I really don't want to make her wait to know I've mailed her package until BPAL.org gets its server issues all hammered out, since we don't know when that will be.

Thank you!

OKAY LJ THIS ISN'T FUNNY. This is like the third time I've written this post. ;-;

I finally have the money to get my hair cut for the first time in six months, and I want beauty101's opinion on how to get it cut. Here are a few things to keep in mind...

I have naturally blonde, straight-as-a-pin hair. It is naturally ridiculously oily and refuses to have any volume despite my best attempts. It is also prone to split-ends. I will be styling it daily with hot rollers for some curl and volume.

I am ultimately trying to grow my hair out, because I will have to put it up for nursing school in about eight months. I don't have a problem with layers, so long as most of my hair is long enough to put back in a pony tail.  I also want something that will still look cute and stylish with my hair up, if that's at all possible.

I have a fairly long face with a high forehead; I'd like to have a haircut that kind of minimizes that.

So, on to the pictures!

I ended up with two Monsieur Pettibled's Frivolous Wheeled Footwear but no Boneshaking Antique Velocipede for my inquisition circle. Is there a kind soul out there (hey, you did plead nice to the goblins) who would like to swap?

Alternately, I am willing to buy your bottle of Boneshaking Antique Velocipede, but obviously I would rather swap if I can.

so at the advice of my stylists i had my hair dyed and had highlights before my wedding which led to my hair being so dry.
after a month or more in denial of needing to put anything on it for help except conditionare, i went to a saloon and had a power dosage something which made my hair soft again (i was in the philippines) .
after a week or so of it..(now living in Poland) i then used my new VS straighter to straighten the frizz/ make curls.

now my hair is dry again. =(

obviously i cant walk into a hair salon now to have anything done since everything is too damn expensive in poland.
so i was hoping what kind of hair treatment would be effective to use.
the prices can vary.

so my no poo trip has gotten better. I know a couple have mentioned using citrus rinses. So I thought Okay, I'll give it a try. (I have a seedless lime tree in my front yard and they are giant sized and overly abundant this season) I don't usually measure how much water i add to my Lime rinse but i do use about a cup of lime juice. I find that on some really greasy hair days it can significantly cut the greasiness and rinses out and my hair remains smooth and shiny without as many fly always as my Bi-weekly bs/acv wash. I found that the lime juice works well when massaged into the scalp and rinsed out one or more times if necessary. And the smell is very tolerable. I haven't noticed any lightening in my hair with lime juice. But when i first started the BS/ACV after dying my hair, it lightened a lot plus i found the vinegar smell stayed.

I also learned that water temperature also makes a big difference when rinsing your hair out, before your done showering. the cooler the water, the less frizz for me, but being kind of chilly, its not always the most pleasant.!

I would really like to try some tea rinses can anyone recommend a specific kind of tea? and the proportions? it would really help!

Goodness, it's been a while. I've been wanting to try the Good Omens scents for the longest, but $25 is a bit much for a bottle I'm not sure I'd love. Does anyone have any decants of the GO series, or perhaps a partial bottle that they no longer want? I also have some imps that I'd be happy to swap. I'd prefer to swap for some GO decants, but if I've got something you'd love to have, I'm flexible. There are so many scents I haven't tried yet. :)

Imps for swap )

It's been a long time since I did a swap/sell, but I do have a bit of feedback here.

So my boyfriend asked me to make a list of Lush stuff tonight that I want for Christmas, and he's going to go to the shop tomorrow. (Best boyfriend ever? Yes) Anyways, I figured I'd put more "fun" items on the list instead of basics like shampoo and skincare, because my dad got me a Lush giftcard and I figured I can buy that stuff with it. I want to take more baths and I've only ever used one bathbomb, so I thought I would include some bathbombs and bubble bars to my list. Thing is, since I have barely used Lush bath products, I'm not sure what goes well together. My favorite scents from Lush are the super girly fruity-berry ones (Rockstar, Yummy Yummy Yummy, Strawberry Feels Forever, etc) and the foodie smelling stuff (HIWTK, Vanillary, Porridge, etc. Basically anything vanilla/honey/oatmeal-like). I don't like really perfumy floral smells, or patchouli, jasmine, etc. What cocktails would you recommend for me? What are your favorites? thanks!
Oh yeah, and a bubble bar to go with butterball, as my boyfriend likes this one and I thought we could share some of my gifts. :p
